Feedback, concerns and complaints about clinical or administrative services are welcome. Making a complaint is free and does not, by itself, affect access to clinically appropriate care.
How to raise a concern
Raise your concern during an appointment, email [email protected], or write to Aberius Psychology, PO Box 393, Deeragun QLD 4818. You may have a support person or advocate assist you. Anonymous feedback is possible, although it may limit a response.
You can briefly explain what happened, relevant dates, what you would like to happen and a safe method for reply. Avoid sending extensive clinical details over ordinary email.
What happens next
The practice aims to acknowledge a complaint within three business days where contact details are available, and provide a substantive response within 20 business days. If more time is needed, a progress update is ordinarily provided at least every 10 business days where possible. These are response targets, not guarantees.
Because Aberius Psychology is a sole-trader practice, the principal psychologist manages complaints. Any urgent clinical, privacy or safety risks are prioritised.
Independent complaint options
You can contact an independent body without first asking the practice for permission.
